Hi everyone!
It's been a little while since my last post. But I am back and incredibly enthusiastic to finally begin the process to create this magazine. So where did we leave off last time? Oh yes! I spoke a bit about myself, my ambitions for the magazine and about my genre: fashion.
It's time to research my genre and take some inspiration from fashion magazines. This is what I picture in my head: my models (my four best friends) wearing lots of springtime colors, the Miami design district as the location for my pictures, and spring fashion trends for this year. That's what I had imagined, yet I was lacking in what information I wanted to include within the articles.
I found this amazing article that was the perfect guide. My main inspiration is VOGUE magazine, so what better article to read than this one, https://blog.flipsnack.com/how-to-design-a-fashion-magazine-like-vogue/. It informed me about the type of structure for the layout VOGUE usually gravitates towards and about the photography style they utilize. However, I am still reading into this article and finishing up my planning specifically for the pictures of the issue. I'll get back to you all with my plans very soon!
